Very dark!

This is a very dark story but done beautifully, i hate bully romance but it was done right. Before you start keep in mind the main characters hate each other for the 75& of the book. But there a lot of plot twists and a reason for everything. I gotta say the dirty talk & the language was done perfectly & realistic not like other dark romance cringe dirty talk which got me wondering if the writer is gen z 👏🏻

Love this story!! Jescie is a Queen

This was a five star read when I first read it and was dying to hear it brought to life on audio! Angelina Rocca was a perfect Montana. Grayson does a good job with the narration but was missing the level of “darkness” that I previously had in my head while reading for Shane. It was a great audiobook overall, and brought the story back to life for me since eyeball reading it.

I love Jescie’s writing style. Dark with lots of angst and plot twist.
This is a love story but not your usual boy meets girl.
I love this story and the audio is so well done.

I didn’t even read the blurb, after finishing three of Jescie Hall’s books, I went ahead and grabbed two more, and I’m so glad I did.

The narrators were amazing; each one brought the story to life and made the emotions feel raw and real. 🗣️🔥

I love how Hall writes toxic relationships, the jealousy, the chaos, the ugly parts. All that “poison” is exactly what makes the madness so magnetic and strangely beautiful.

That said, I do think the book could have been shorter, 15 hours felt a bit stretched at times without real reason. Still, I enjoyed the plot, the characters, and the twists, and I’m definitely looking forward to more books from this author.
