Very dark!

This is a very dark story but done beautifully, i hate bully romance but it was done right. Before you start keep in mind the main characters hate each other for the 75& of the book. But there a lot of plot twists and a reason for everything. I gotta say the dirty talk & the language was done perfectly & realistic not like other dark romance cringe dirty talk which got me wondering if the writer is gen z 👏🏻

This book was borderline depraved in all of the best ways. If that sentence does not make sense to you this may not be the book or genre for you lol.

What’s Audio and what a story it was very interesting and confusing to read but over all the audio made up for it . Nicely done and well

This book starts off strong haha but I’m glad I read the reviews that talk about how the two characters hate each other for 75 perfect of the book so it helped me not worry about when it would happen and I just got to enjoy the storyline. The plot of this book and what you know and love from Jescie Hall made this a 4.5 book. That Silk Luv is still my favorite from her but I just love how every part of the story has you wondering what’s going to happen next.

Unhinged MC’s

This is one of my top reads/listens in a long time, love how unhinged the characters are and how they come back to each other. I don’t want to give any spoilers but it is so good, no surprise cause Miss Jescie is an amazing Author!

I love Jescie Hall! This was a very good book, just not my favorite of hers. I would 100% recommend this book because I enjoyed the plot twist, spice and Angelina Rocca! I wish Greyson Owens would have a bit more texture and swagger to his voice for darker characters. In my opinion, he sounds too vanilla for spicy/dark roles. Everytime Shane and Montana moved forward they would end up sliding back for weak reasons. It often overlayed the strength in Montanas character and happened too often for me. Also I personally don’t like OWD. Those are small reasons why this didn’t get a 5 all the way across. It is a solid read/listen and definitely worth a credit! Jescie is always a sure thing for me!

This is a must Listen and read. The dynamic between these two is so intoxicatingly amazing. And I love the twist at the end when you’re fully unravel both of the characters and see where they both actually stand is one of the most well written things I’ve ever read.

I didn’t even read the blurb, after finishing three of Jescie Hall’s books, I went ahead and grabbed two more, and I’m so glad I did.

The narrators were amazing; each one brought the story to life and made the emotions feel raw and real. 🗣️🔥

I love how Hall writes toxic relationships, the jealousy, the chaos, the ugly parts. All that “poison” is exactly what makes the madness so magnetic and strangely beautiful.

That said, I do think the book could have been shorter, 15 hours felt a bit stretched at times without real reason. Still, I enjoyed the plot, the characters, and the twists, and I’m definitely looking forward to more books from this author.
