This is a good one ... satisfying and easy listen

I do like an easy listen that is just a tiny, tiny bit more deep than a cozy, but still not angst-ridden. This is a perfect listen as you do whatever it is you're doing. It's not so complex that you need to focus tightly on it, you don't need to stress to remember names, but, there is clearly a good strong plot, lots of pleasant shifters, an old nosy, nasty female croc shifter that is a pest but not a threat, there's an intelligent, adult female lead, and a rather gentle, sweet male lead, an old house on a cliff, a mystery inheritance, it has all the plot goodies, plus a happy ending. I recommend it for your "I need a happy ending without having to go thru a bloody battle" list, smiles. I think you'll find it satisfying.
