The battle at Faylin has made waves, and people are starting to have expectations for Ard and, more importantly, for Gwen. The Elder Trial is set, and Ard heads back into the den of vipers that is the capital.

While his mother prepares to become an Elder and take over House Aldis, Ard is plotting and planning to ensure he doesn't get caught up in Carmilla's machinations this time around.

In the far distance, you can almost hear the drums of war warming up as the frost thaws. While Avente fights over their leadership, Garrish is preparing their invasion.

Good book

Good book on series. Just the twist at end made zero sense compared to rest of series. Will check out next to see if it comes together. Narration was well done.

VA's performance

Just like the other books, I'm loving the performance's by the VA's and can't wait till the next book... also love the story to.

And twist on war

the fourth book is a nice installment of what life is when you have countries constantly battling Supremacy around you and you just want to live a simple life. it's the story will continue going into deepening the connection of the characters the wheel of each and see if everybody will last

Great Series

This series of books is must listen. I cannot wait until book 5 comes out. The author did awesome job and let's not forget the narrators hats you both very good job thank you.
