best in series

this is by far the best book so far in this series. I love how it is all coming together

Cordelia is impossible to listen to

Up till the introduction of Cordelia the narration was tolerable if not my favorite, but the fake feminine screechiness when narrating her is unbearable on the ears and I think my journey with this series ends here.

The new voice…

Okay so overall, the book continues to be amazing, and promising. I love character development and the secrets slowly starting to rise.

Only mistake I see is that the Author wrote that the new party member has a “high pitch voice”. So the narrator of the book tried his best to do just that, and it is awful.

You do get use to it, high pitch and all, like someone going through puberty hahaha. But if you push past that, it’s an amazing book!

good book, but one character hurts the ears

the newest character, Cordelia, needs a change of voice. I know her voice is supposed to be high, but the voice acted CAN NOT hit those notes, and needs to stop trying. it's like nails on a chalkboard whenever she speaks

Can’t wait for what’s next!!

I’ve been going through these books too quickly, the story is so engaging and the narration is awesome, the next 2 books can’t come soon enough!!

Characters

The growth and development of Max‘s team is a joy to behold. The strong morals that Max holds are a light in the dark.

Great book, eagerly awaiting the next one!

I’m not exactly sure why, but I’m really enjoying this series. I like the character development and eagerly want to see what happens after the dungeon.

Great break from reality!

I love me a fast paced story with an OP MC. My only complaint is the voice used for the new party member. The characters all advance well in this book, and the side chapter while the MC learned to smith was well done. I thought he would level the new smith like the baker, maybe next book, which I already preordered.

Poor character voice choices

Narrator continues to be horrible, whispers and shouts and the new voice of Cordilia grates on the nerves the accents are truly awkward...blah! thinking seriously about stopping the series over this. Also logging this narrator as one to be sure to avoid for any other books.

Very much enjoy the “inner demon” concept. I can’t wait to see how it plays out!

I wish the books were longer with a greater emphasis on the comic entities. At this point I assume the story will get there I would prefer more godly overview.
