Rina Kent
From USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent comes a new standalone enemies-to-lovers, marriage of convenience romance.
I fell for the villain.
It happened back when I was a clueless girl.
But he ruthlessly broke my heart and trapped it in a jar.
Since then, I’ve sworn to hate him to the end of my days.
Eli King might be a savage devil, but I’m out of his way. And league. That is until I wake up in a hospital and find him holding my hand.
He tells me the words that change my life forever.
“We got married two years ago, Mrs. King.”
So I set out to investigate how I landed myself into this marriage.
Turns out, my memories are darker than my present. I thought I was ready for the hurricane.
I thought I could handle his soulless eyes and cold shoulder.
I thought wrong.
Nothing can stop my husband.
Not the secrets surrounding us.
Not the hatred between us.
Not even me.
This book can be listened to on its own, but for a better understanding of the world, you might want to start with God of Malice.

Once again Rina Kent has given us a book with mental health representation as a huge part of the plot and I loved how it tied in and how it was handled. This book was unexpected and went in a direction I didn’t see coming and taking place 2 years after graduation. But this book was executed perfectly.
About the first half of the book I spent so much time thinking WTF has happened since her last memory. But I felt like it made it easier to see things from Ava’s perspective. Her antics drove me a little crazy but it also took reminding myself what she remembered last and that things would change. I loved the perspective we got on Ava so we could understand her in the previous books more.
Eli King is my favorite of the guys from the second generation. You don’t see it right away but once you see how much he loves Ava and everything he’s done for her it made me melt for his unfeeling heart. Every time he called Ava Mrs. King I melted a little bit. It was my favorite of the names he called her.
The push and pull between these two kept me on my toes. For what felt like so much of the story it went back and forth between them. But in the end Eli would only push to an extent and it was one of the things that showed how much he respected her.
I just loved this audiobook. The narration pulled all the emotions out of me. And even though we were spoon fed information for a lot of the book I enjoyed how it all fell into place and everything started to click even things you didn’t realize were done for specific reasons. The way Eli loved Ava is really the only way the King men do it methodically, with precision, completely devoted and

It’s finally here, God of War, the 6th and last book in the Legacy of Gods series. Oh my gosh! What an absolute roller coaster!!!! Did I have any idea what was going on at the beginning between Eli and Ava? Nope, not at all. Did it matter? No, it sure didn’t. Once again Rina took us on a ride like nothing we had be on before. This book delved in to Ava and her mental health issues that took her down a destructive path of alcohol and drugs. And Eli who has always been in the shadows waiting, watching and protecting Ava. The lengths that Eli went through over the years to take care of Ava was so beautiful because it showed how much he loved her even if he never could say it. This book right here is exactly why I love Rina’s books so much, because they make you feel the emotions of the characters. Now that this series is over, I have to figure out what to do with my life..
Worth the wait
