To say I love this book is a huge understatement. Rina Kent is back, and she’s back in a big way. I had certain expectations with the Legacy of Gods books because I had read the parents’ book. While “Kiss the Villain” still had one of the kids, it was done in such an original way that it reminded me so much of her earlier work and served as a great introduction to “Beautiful Venom.”

“Beautiful Venom” is everything I love about dark romance, and it’s also a great representation of why I love Rina so much. THIS right here will be the book that I tell people to read first. The FMC, Dahlia, is EVERYTHING I could ask for in an FMC. She reminds me a lot of Sasha (Monster trilogy) and Lia (Deception trilogy), which happen to be my all-time favorite Rina books. Dahlia is smart, fierce, and most importantly, she fights back. She’s the light to Kane Davenport’s dark, but make no mistake, Dahlia has darkness herself. AND Kane Davenport is exactly the kind of composed psychopath I live for. He reminds me of the MMCs from the same books above, Kirill (Monster trilogy) and Adrian (Deception trilogy). I couldn’t have asked for a better tortured, possessive anti-hero than him.

The SPICE—oh, the spice was everything. I thought Rina did a really good job portraying the darker side of BDSM, and each scene was tastefully written. Is it too much to say that I wanted more?

I loved “Beautiful Venom” so much and cannot wait for Jude and Violet’s story. I have a feeling it’s going to be explosive.

This was another book I read while also listening to the audiobook and I’m so glad that I did. Michelle and Corvin freaking nailed it with their narration. Each brought the characters to life in only the way they know how. I loved it so much I plan a re-listen very soon!

Corvin King Voice Is Everything!!!

I am soooo obsessed with this audiobook! I highly recommend it!!! Corvin King’s voice is absolutely incredible!!! He brought Kane Davenport to life and I didn’t want the book to end!!!

Corvin King and Michelle Sparks are the perfect narrative team. Their back and forth tension was amazing and had me on the edge of my seat!!!

This story is fun and wild!!! Dahlia the fmc is put through everything and still comes out swinging! She is strong, fierce and a firecracker!

Kane Davenport owns my heart, body and soul! This boy can do no wrong in my book! He just got bumped up on my book boyfriend list!!

Rina Kent is amazing!!! The stories she comes up with blow my mind! I mean it when I say I was on the edge of my seat. Just when you think bam, they will be together, Rina throws a twist in! Sooo good!!

And then there’s the audiobook… Corvin King and Michelle Sparks absolutely nailed it. Corvin’s “wildflower” and “baby” destroyed me—every line dripped with heat and emotion. And Michelle? The perfect Dahlia. The sass, the steel, the cracks of vulnerability—just incredible. Chapter 31 and 32 had me sobbing.

This is a masterclass in dark romance storytelling and this debut into the Viper world? Five stars? Nah- consider the scales shattered, the ratings system can't hold this kind of brilliance!
Infinity stars. 10/10 would recommend. I didn’t want to stop listening, and yes—I started annotating the eBook the second I finished.

Great story

Had just enough story, romance and plot. It was a great mixture and worst every minute. Kane went from complete a** hole to the best man he could be. Dahlia never gave up and fought for what she wanted. Highly recommend.
