Light hearted

After the battle in the previous book, this one was written as a breather. Characters, new and old, are being maneuvered for the next book. Jessie's issues from her 'Jane' life are being resolved, so she can grow. This is not a book to skip in the series. While it is more lighthearted, this is a progression book. The calm before the storm. I liked the book enough to listen to it twice in two days.

Love this series!

Loved the education for women in emotionally abusive relationships. Also love that it looks like there are more stories coming. They still need to take down the corrupt Mages Guild.

This series has it all. Romance, humored, suspense, all the feels. The narrator is the best. You can't go wrong.

I hope this series never ends

I absolutely love the characters and their antics. We finally get more insight into Jess’ past, and her crappy ex husband. We’re learning more about Niamh’s past. Not to mention Tristan and the captain. I cannot wait to see what this crew does next.

This serious is so freaking good and the characters are made even better by the excellent voices! Talk about brightening my day! I already can't wait for the next book!
