This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Performance Art Experience
Still, the Sky is a poetic collection of short abstract-styled memories, experiences, fragments of thoughts, and more presented as performance art.
The author, Tom Pearson provides thought-provoking snippets of memories, thoughts, and experiences that flow smoothly. Descriptions are detailed and elicit vivid images. The presentation style is a blending of spoken words and music infused with abstract details and conceptual topics.
The narrators, Andrew Broaddus, Justing Lynch, and Mary Madsen, deliver a solid performance blending their performances smoothly and flawlessly. At times their joint voices provide a surreal experience that heightens the words being spoken creating a vivid picture. The use of music also increases the experience. While I am not a fan of music or sound effects, this production was well done.
This is a well-done performance and audiobook that invokes vivid imagery and emotions.
