These ladies sure can talk!
I listened to the audio version of this book which was likely gifted by the author. I believe I also own the ebook. It is a cute story about a baker bear shifter whose dragon mate disappeared sixteen years ago, right after asking her to marry him. Suddenly he is back and wants to explain where he has been, but she is having none of it. Besides, he is ruining her Christmas spirit. But then a woman claiming to be Fate shows up saying she needs Everleigh's help to rescue Deacon and his brothers. Brothers??!

Hunky Dragon! Sarcastic and curvy mate!
I always love the snappy and sarcastic dialogue between the authors characters. Although it’s a standalone I enjoy all the books and when they intertwine. Love Julia’s dragon shifter series! Grab them all!

funny and over the top
- which is exactly what you expect when you are reading a Julia Mills story. the audiobook is brilliantly narrated, capturing the Rhythm of the author's use of multiply layered description. the battles are ferocious, the sex is steamy, and the dialogue is hilarious.
