Story
As a wolf shifter growing up in a strong pack, I should be living my best life. But after my father tried to kill our leader, I’m labelled an outcast, traitor, less than dirt. When I can't take pack life any longer, I run, but apparently they don't like losing their punching bag. Torin, the leader’s son, drags me back before my first shift...a shift that will reveal my true mate. I never could have predicted who mine would be, but the moment my wolf looks upon him, I’m filled with hope for a brighter future.

Publisher's Summary
It all started with a dare.
A single dare on Maisey Parker's 21st birthday and her entire life changed.
One second she was getting drunk with her friends, and the next she was climbing a cliff, cutting her hand, and accidentally offering a blood sacrifice that opened a thousand year old prison. A prison that contained the only living Titan. One too powerful to kill. One that wants nothing to do with being attached to Maisey.
Cronus has an old score to settle with the Greek Pantheon. Lucky she has some sick days saved up at work, because Maisey is dragged along whether she likes it or not. A decision Cronus no doubt regretted right around the time she makes a colossal mistake, unleashing an untold evil on the world.
Now they're in a race against the clock to resurrect the other Titans, the only beings who can contain the evil. They're the world's last hope. And Maisey's.

Nope too much ###
Jaymin Eve & Leia Stone are one of my favorites duo of co-writting authors. But sadly this book was not one of my favorites. The story by itself would have been awesome if not for the constant Hashtagging every few sentences. That sadly killed it for me. I don't know if listening to it via Audible made it worse but i will try to read the other books instead of listening to it maybe it will be less annoying.
Vanessa Moyen did an excellent job narrating this book like usual i love her voice. So sad that that the constant # ruined it.

#TooManyHashtags
Overall the story was good but the overuse of hastags got old really quick. No one talks like that and I had a hard time connecting with the lead because of that. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. It would be a great read if 75% of the hashtags were removed

Extreamly Imature
This book is what's wrong with our generation I am the age of the main character, who is obsessed with posting herself Instagram (this is my biggest pet peeve) the book encourages young women to continue being so vane it disgusts me. She speaks very immaturely saying "hashtags" every paragraph. I could bearly get through the first chapter but dragged on hoping it would get better since I love fictions revolving around the gods but after chapter 5 I just couldn't do it. The book just pissed me off the whole time. Don't waste your time

A very fun read
Finished it in a day and it made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The hashtag usage gets a little excessive at times, but it does add a certain amount of character and charm to the book that I enjoyed most of the time. The mythology in it was great, and the humor kept me thoroughly entertained. All in all definitely worth a read and I’ll be looking forward to the sequel.

Death by hashtag
I surprisingly made it through this first book but I won’t be moving on with the series. #enough #with #the #hashtags I know the main character is only 21 but I know of plenty of 21 year olds who do not hashtag the crap out of everything. Story is good if you can get past the hashtagging though. I can’t take it anymore. If you decide to rewrite without all the dang hashtags, let me know.

Interesting, but a bit...
I found the story interesting, and I love Vanessa Moyen, but the story felt too rushed and there wasn't a lot of character development at the beginning. I also found all of the hashtag comments to be a little too much, but I'm not an Instagram follower so that could be why. I still really like Jaymin Eve's work and I'm looking forward to book 2, but I'll probably read it before I think about buying the audio.

# Way too many hashtags and swearing
Love both Jaymin Eve and Leia Stone but this book is sadly just awful......
The MC acts and talks like age 12 until her potty mouth emerges every 2nd sentence interchanged by super annoying hash tagging. The sexual self-talk and objectifyng in particular of the mail characters is particularly appropriate and bordering on truly offensive in this era.The potential of the story had no chance with these disastrous cringey elements.....

DO NOT play a drinking game with this book, on the word #hashtag. You’d never make it past the first chapter. Especially on a school night, you’d never make it to work the next day.
I counted 27 #’s in one chapter !! Any need ?

Pretty good
I really liked this as an opening gambit for a larger series: it wasn't what I assumed it was right at the start of the book and like an avalanche, it built and built upon itself as the story went on.
But my god, the FMC's inner monologue is annoying! All of the hashtags every other sentence actually hurt my brain and made her sound more like 16 than 21

Great book
I LOVED this book, it was entertaining and I felt the story was paced really well, a lot of these sort of books feel very rushed but this one got it perfect! The characters were lovable and I really enjoyed watching the heroine’s personality evolve throughout the book. I enjoyed the fact that Maisey wasn’t a typical heroine and wasn’t one of those ‘perfect and pure’ people, she had flaws which I felt brought her character to life. The one thing I would say would be the #tags. It was a nice touch but I felt it was just a little overdone and really stunted the flow of the story at points. But overall, would definitely recommend!

Witnessing this quurky, self absorbed young woman slowly change into someone who cares for others is an entertaining journey. This is an amazing book! I’ll admit I’ve never been much into Greek god stories but this book just may have changed my mind about that. It brought enough modern day into mix with the mythology to keep me hooked the entire time. #givememore
I can’t wait tell book 3 comes out.

I normally love these authors books, but the main character and those damn hashtags were so annoying, it took away from what could have been a really awesome story.

Would be better without hashtags
While I usually love both authors work, I found the heroine annoying and vain. The constant use of hashtag whatever innane thought she had, was close to having me pull out my hair. Vanessa Moyan was great and did the best she could with the content.

Exceptional start to a series
‘Releasing the Gods’ is book one in the Co-Authored series Titan Saga by Jaymin Eve & Leia Stone.
Maisey thought that the most important thing in her life was her social media life, getting 50k follows on her Instagram account and hoping to get sponsors. When she is double dared to climb up the “haunted cliff” on her twenty-first birthday she never thought that she would accidentally unlock a thousand year old prison and get a life bond to a Titan. Being bonded to a Titan with revenge on his mind means that she is pulled across the world making deal after deal with other Titans/Gods. But when Pandora’s box is opened and Nine Deadly Sins are released, she must work with the arrogant Titan to recapture the Sins before Earth is destroyed.
Firstly I just have to say how much I love these ladies. Their work as individual authors are just phenomenal but when you put them together it’s like all my Christmas’ and birthday’s have come at once. I’ve read everything by these ladies as individuals and co-authored and I can’t get enough of them.
So now on to the book review...
What an absolute exhilarating start to a series, if this is any indication on how awesome this series is going to be then we are in for one heart pulling, high stakes, emotional overload of an experience. And I CANT wait!
I love a good Mythology twist and this was off the charts. There are so many different renditions out there on the Titans/Gods. But so far I have not found one where the Titans are the misunderstood/victims. There have been plenty with Zeus being the arrogant, evil, nasty being. I loved how Maisey would make references to what is in the history books about the Titans and seeing Cronus’ reaction, telling her that Zeus rewrote the tales.
Maisey is a little scatterbrained but her character growth was enjoyable to see. Even though she never really embraced the whole Titans and Gods existed in the beginning she was happy to just go with it. But when it mattered she was on board fully.
The constant humour between Maisey and Cronus is a great distraction from the seriousness of the situation that they are in. So many times throughout the book I found myself lol and getting weird looks from the kids. When I tried to explain what was going on to them they would respond by saying there was something wrong with me. They just don’t understand 😂.
I can’t wait to see what happens next in book two, especially after that ending. I can’t believe what went down. There better be a really good explanation and reason behind it.

***Oh My Cronus***
Vanessa Moyen is a brilliant narrator thank you. Releasing the gods is witty, none stop gods actions and not to forget our heroine #addictedtoinstagram lol I've enjoyed this book so much and can't wait for book two, five star all the way. It's extremely entertaining, I couldn't stop laughing.
