She’s hard up. He’s just hard.... After an ill-fated one-night stand, Wyatt Landry was the last person I ever expected to see again. By design, mind you, as I spent the last two years avoiding him. Thankfully, working in the death industry, I’ve mastered the skill of compartmentalization. Keeping my growing feelings tucked away should be a piece of cake. Except, seeing him every day definitely throws a wrench in that plan. Before I know it, we’re trading favors for dates, and as much I don’t want to admit it, the feelings for him I thought were dead and buried are taking root and growing into something that looks a lot like love. So glad I ignored the title ….

I almost didn’t get this because I didn’t like the title or the quip beneath it. But I heart eyes Joe Arden’s voice it’s so soothing and easy to listen to plus the reviews we’re raving. And rightly so. This was cute!!! It was funny!!! It was special!!! I laughed I cried I swooned. I added it to my favorites library because I’ll be reading this again!!! Don’t let the title turn you off this worthy story.

Great read!

Loved this book! I loved the relationship that Wyatt developed with Whitney’s daughter, Prissy! The relationship between Prissy and Wyatt’s dog is even better. The Father-Daughter dance scene, was by far one of my favorites!

Funny and Heartwarming!

What a fantastic story. I loved everything about this book, koodoos to Heather!
This was such a sweet charming funny listen. I laughed out loud and got all the feels. I loved that there was no drama in this it was just a great love story told. It was truly a mature romance and I loved every bit of it. Prissy was definitely the star in this story, absolutely adored her character.
Joe and Vanessa where amazing, they brough this to life for sure. Worth your credit IMO.
