Beautiful story

The narrators were brilliant and it was a beautiful story of a strong woman’s and a man who helps her heal

So good!

Absolutely loved this book, love all of Susie Tate’s books honestly. While I shushed this could have been a duet, it wasn’t too bad.

Hopeful and heartwarming.

This addressed some real issues faced by survivors of abuse. The author clearly researched therapy modalities, as well as the true feelings of trauma. I felt heard.

Be careful - severe domestic violence is present

I like the story, the narration is great, BUT I think it is a big mistake in my opinion that listeners are not aware of the fact that the book contains a theme of severe domestic violence.

well I cried hysterical, twice. so that's an automatic 5 stars. great narrators, fun story line.
the audio book needs a trigger warning page within the sample too, I may have not listened but I am glad I pushed through

graphic domestic abuse depicted
