Love the series I love the collaboration between Charlie’s Requiem and the Going Home series

awesome but a bit on the darker side

The series is awesome I had always keeps my attention it is on the darker side than the survivalist series but I still highly recommend these books looking forward to the next one

That there is nothing that I didn’t like about this book. It was very intriguing. The details of the survivalist were top-notch. The usage of materials, trading, medicinal information was spot on. Thank you for all the research.

I like how it ties into the going home series

It’s nice to hear another persons perspective on the going home series. And this book started to tie in to Morgan and sarges world.

These and the survivalist books are my all time favorite. Duke always does an excellent job! I can't wait to see what the next one brings. I love how the 2 series came together at the end and we got heear Sarg at the end.

Outstanding!

This is a fantastic book, indeed the entire series is fantastic. You have well developed characters that are easy to become invested in, an intriguing storyline, challenges that seem insurmountable, and heroes that are flawed just like the rest of us. Plus, great chemistry between the characters with friendly banter and well placed humor. On the other hand, this series is terrifying because everything in it is realistic and entirely possible, perhaps even probable.

Never disappoints….

We saved the read/listen for a cross-country road-trip and just wrapped up. Loved the story-line! Especially appreciated the two predators in the room, the nod to over-coming trauma, and the importance of hope. (If this ever really happens, hope is why we have all this gear, right?) Stunning cliff-hangers, but also some great connect-the-dots. Restarting the whole series now, while we wait again…
