Parallel earths, different timelines, and multiple variations of the villains Cedric

A good story it picks up where the other place left off. They begin to understand how the glass functions and are able to use it. They’re hoping to stave off an invasion by the aliens that were briefly mentioned in the first book the other place. Make sure you read the other place before reading this or you’ll be lost.

Enjoyable

Fun story. I liked the pacing and really enjoyed how the characters have been developed. Sad that audible doesn’t seem to be putting out the third book.

Done

The story has too many tangents and is hard to follow.
The only thing that kept me going was RC Bray.

First book that gave me a headache

Maybe it’s just me but I found it far too confusing and complicated keeping all the characters and their duplicates and all the worlds and timelines straight. You almost need a cork board, push pins and strings of yarn to keep everyone and their stories straight. It gave me a headache. If there is a book 3, I think I’ll pass. Interesting concept though.

Had potential

The books and storyline had potential, but things just jumped around too much to track. RC Bray kept me engaged enough to get thru.

Overall great listen

admittedly thought it was a little slow on the uptake but the story built itself to a great climax. Thanks for a great story, well preformed!

Wow! What a ride!

Absolutely loved this book! The characters, their back stories and their feelings are so well-written. The story itself will make you want to listen in one sitting. Lord Bray is phenomenal as always.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the main reviews

I saw reviews of how confusing this book was but it all boils down to critical thinking with a little bit of imagination. Every person wonders what if. What if I turned right instead of left? What if I married my highschool sweetheart? What if I went to science camp instead of baseball camp? Give this book a chance. While it's nothing like the first book it does tie in to the first book if you let your mind wander from 2+2=4. What if 2+2 =infinite. Just saying these reviews are in no way a representation of this book or its narrator.
