A princess finds him inconveniently alive, an ancient king arrives at his barbecue, and the local Church of Fertility are uncomfortably enthusiastic about including him in their practices. As his friends strive to reach him from the far side of the world, they are all frustrated by obstacles.

Jason is finally back in the world he longed for, but he is not the same man he was when he left. As the pressure on him mounts, allies and enemies alike will find that out the hard way.

Necessary Healing

I've seen several people say this book is filler, and I have to wonder if they read the same book. Yes, it's not quite as bombastic as some previous books in the series, but the entire point is that Jason needs time to calm down and get a grip on everything happening to him. He needed his found family, and... look anything else I say would fall into spoiler territory. Suffice it to say, mental health is important, even for fictional characters with a penchant for pantsless shenanigans. Great book, can't wait for the rest of the series. Remember folks, we're at the midpoint - the author stated it was going to be around 12 books long, and this is book 7.

Now, on to Royal Road to spoil myself on the next book! (Don't worry, I'll still listen to it when it comes out- Heath Miller is too good of a VA to ignore!)

More of the same, and that is awesome.

More of the same sarcy humour, more of the same same brilliant narration. More of the great story telling.

I am looking forward to when I get my hand on more.

As my title states it's impossible for me to find words for how amazing this series is as you sit on the edge of your seat while excitedly waiting for the next steps to come around. I can listen to this series over and over. I can't wait for the next book to be out so I can listen to more!

more than a few tears while driving to work or exercising, both happy and sad. more than a few times, I may have still had my earbuds in while clocking in to work. RECIPE BOOK PLEASE!
