love the series and am a big fan of Neil's narration so I am dropping another credit on a new audiobook by one of my top 5 authors with a top quality narrator.

Great mix of real word accurate military knowledge and fun fantasy antics. I couldn't put my headphones down.

almost ruined a good story

You're telling me that two mercenaries, instead of joining Doctors without borders or some other Non-profit, decided to rent their military expertise for lots of money, and when they get to some random town, suddenly they don't want money for services anymore?? They constantly complain about lack of money and resources, yet when 1000s of good is freely given to them as a gift, they refuse and act like Buddha??! author is so inconsistent with his dumb, flimsy ideas...

And what kind of useless oath Blaze gave? "I swear to you as long as I agree with your orders, then it's annulled".. Why do you even need an oath then? What is the point of swearing an oath that is annulled as soon as you disagree? Author almost ruined the story with village training arc. Horrible filler!

Even better as an audio book.

I read the whole series. Loved it. Now I'm listening to the series, I just bought all 9 available audio books. Hope book 10 is available when I get there.
