Publisher's summary

From the age of four, Eve wandered through a maze of injustice, exploitation, and unthinkable parental betrayal. After escaping home at the age of 15, it disheartened Eve to find that her childhood was only the beginning of a road fraught with violent relationships.

Come along on her journey of perseverance through intense psychotherapy as she learns it is possible to not only survive the aftereffects of deep childhood trauma, but also break the generational cycle for her own family.

Everyone needs to read this book

This book was so powerful and eye opening. Bringing stories we’ve heard about but not real and raw truth. And best of all, she becomes a game changer. Stopped the cycle of violence in her family and in countless more through reading this book and making the same changes she did. Bravo!

Narrator fail

The narrator got in the way of my connection to the story. Her voice is too sing songy and naive sounding. It interfered.
