Can two men born in different realms hundreds of years apart save the Earth?
Darius should be dead after a bomb hits his vehicle in Afghanistan. Instead, he finds himself in another realm fighting against a tyrannical Demon queen. When Darius returns home, he thinks he’s seen the last of Demons, until mysterious rifts tear the sky, collapsing the realms and flooding Earth with magical beings.
Three hundred years later, the war between races is over, but the war against Demons rages. Kelithir, a High Elf who watched Demons destroy his home realm, works to develop a level-up program to defeat them. Despite everyone’s doubts about Alpha, he’s sure it’s the key to closing the dungeons.
Will Darius and Kelithir succeed? Or will Demons find a way to break free and destroy everything once and for all?

Now, he is not a god, so there's no way he can make these things into reality. There's no explanation going into how make believe, becomes reality. As far as we can tell, he is simply making up shit as he goes along. but somehow by saying " I'm gonna make a program that I could fill in any information I want and make people as powerful as I want," he succeeds in doing just that. this program is somehow going to magically make these people stronger.
This is the one week point of this whole series. I love a good story where the author comes up with some sort of new leveling system or magical system. this system however, makes no sense. Where is the power in this system coming from. Reading this book we are told it is coming from the inventor and his partner they are literally making up rules like it is a video game they are designing. I'm sorry but me playing WOW, does not give me the magical powers in that game, and that is the Premise of this book. nothing that we have been told explained how an idea, become reality.
If we ignore how weak the basis of their magic system is and just accept it, then this is a decent series, but I am personally having a hard time with how shaky the ground that the leveling system stands on is
At least make your leveling system make sense
