"The training levels have concluded. Now the games may truly begin."

The ratings and views are off the chart. The fans just can't get enough. The dungeon gets more dangerous each day. But in a grinder designed to chew up and spit out crawlers by the millions, Carl and Princess Donut need to work harder than ever just to survive.

They call it the Over City. A sprawling, once-thriving metropolis devastated by a mysterious calamity. But these streets are far from abandoned. An undead circus trawls the ruins. Murdered prostitutes rain from the sky. An ancient spell is finally ready to reveal its dark purpose.

Carl still has no pants.

They call it Dungeon Crawler World. For Carl and Donut, it's anything but a game.

We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. Not as gut-shakingly hilarious as the first, but still funny and massively entertaining. Strap in folks, this series is gonna go for floors! (read miles)

You have done what most movies failed to do. You pulled off a sequel! That’s right and it’s just as good as finding out Vader was Luke’s father.

Reward? You can look forward to listening to it yourself and will like it about as much as the first volume. Probably. You do you buck-o.

You could've gone the whole book without bringing up smoking... 🤮
At least you dropped the fake Seattle BS.
Still though, the background and universe is really well thought out. Like the fact that there are nonsensical rules that have sensical origins. The legal ramifications, the vetos, the space opera, the fact that the main characters aren't #1 at everything... It's really nice to see something this well fleshed out. (It was one of my biggest pet peeves in YA fiction like Harry Potter, or even TV shows like Star Trek)... The one place I can fault it here is that somehow Earth TV is the best TV the universe has ever seen? That can't be true (kind of ridiculous really). But it's possible that the characters who believe this just have bad taste (or in Donut's case, like how much alien "TV" has she really watched anyway?) 🤔

Annoying but good
