Amazing audio book

Deacon is a super hot wolf shifter and a super douchebag—or so everyone thinks.

Deacon feels very deeply about his pack and his brothers. But he doesn’t feel the same driving force to mate and settle down like his brother, Shaun. Since meeting Gemma, Cassie’s sister, and after rescuing her from the Hunter Sect, his feelings have been supercharged.

Gemma is a strong female character, I really enjoy her feistiness and perseverance. After returning from the Hunter Sect, she needs to work through her demons and get to know herself again. With the love of a super annoying wolf she overcomes and thrives in her new world.

This is a terrific shifter paranormal romance and it is definitely worth listening to. Mike Peterman is phenomenal! I thought he was amazing narrating Midnight Touch, but he is outstanding as Deacon in Midnight Temptation. He brings to life everything that makes Deacon, the lovable a-hole we all love.

Excellent Audible Book!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This is book 2 in this continuing saga. The author has written a captivating story that is full of adventure, heartache, hope, mystery, banter, hot love, and many twists and turns. There is never a dull moment. When Deacon rescues Gemma the last thing that he wants is a mate, but his wolf wants her. They will have to overcome several obstacles to be together. The pack will be confronted with confusing twists and turns. The narrator does an amazing job of portraying the emotions of these characters. He really does bring the story to life. He makes the sex scenes even hotter! I recommend this Audible book.

Fabulous story!

Let me start by saying I have a really bad habit of buying a book and not looking that it’s the second book or the fifth book in a series!
This is the first book I have listen to by this author! I liked this story but I felt as though I was missing some details and I will be starting over with book one.
This storyline has action, suspense, adventure, intrigue, mystery and romance! I do have to say from my experience you should definitely start with book one.
The narrator does a great job with the characters and voices of each making it easy to distinguish between the characters. This is the first book by this narrator I have listen to and I have to say he does a fabulous job.

Fantastic PNR & Narration🎧 Fascinating Story!

L. Ann continues her “Midnight Pack” series with Deacon’s story. Deacon was introduced in the first book of the series, “Midnight Touch” he is Sean’s twin brother. This book picks up when Sean and Gemma were rescued and brought home. Gemma is Cassie’s sister, she and Deacon had a special bond, a love hate type of bond, they constantly bickered back and forth. I loved the chemistry between these two, also loved the nickname Deacon used for her, “Starshine". Gemma was traumatized during her captivity and has not been herself, Deacon is doing what he can to bring the old Gemma back. I adored him for his persistence and determination and for sticking by her. Damian is still a thorn in the packs side and there are other threats out there as well. L. Ann delivers another fascinating book, it is well plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists, some thrilling suspense and some great romance. Thank you L. Ann for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to what is to come in Cormac’s story “Midnight Torment”. And what he and the pack does with all the things they found out in this book.

I listened to the Audible edition, Mike Peterman is a fantastic narrator and voice artist. He continues to bring these characters and their story to life. He covers the voices for all the characters, gives each their own unique sound and switches roles back and forth flawlessly never missing a beat. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Loved this series. This is book two and was so good love this storyline and the characters are amazing . The narrator did a amazing job in this story.

Yes Midnight Temptation!

Loved it! This is the second book in the series, and it starts right where book one ends. The first book was about Shawn and Cassy. This book is about Deacon and Gemma. Gemma and Deacon's chemistry is full of temptations and sexual tension. I can't wait to see what will happen in book three!

Deacon!!!!

Love love this book! Fell in love with the Jacob brothers when I read their story on my a Kindle. Then listened to it on audio. Mike does an excellent job narrating a book that is filled with love, tragedy, heartache and most of all witty banter. I wish there were a ten star rating! This series deserve it!

narrator needs work

The narrator is is very monotone. You can't tell the difference between normal, angry, aroused, etc. Would be better if he showed more emotions during the emotional parts instead of just reading a script. I love the story, but the delivery needs work.

Great alpha male

You gotta love a broody alpha male!! "Starshine" was quite snarky herself. Throw them together and you have an explosive love story. They characters in this book were great. I loved all of them, even the ones I loved to hate. Enough suspense, action and romance to keep you hooked. Narrator was great! Good fun listen!
