Unique

A mystery like no other. You will definitely enjoy this book. You should check out his accompanying art work on his Patreon account and at heavenfield.com I've been a fan of this author for awhile now.

Simply put, I love it

Whether it’s in the form of a podcast or an audiobook I love The Heavenfield by I G Hulme.

I first heard this on iTunes Podcast oh so long ago. I downloaded it, fell in love with the story and never stopped listening to it. It’s one of my favorites so much so that I every so often I look it up on Audible and tonight, to my delight here it was. And imagine my surprise when I saw there’s a another book, a prelude to the entire ordeal. But since this is my introduction to
the Heavenfield universe this is where I shall begin again. Listening to and reliving the journey. Oh and the narration is sublime, just another reason to listen to Hulme again and again.

6 yrs later, still the best book I've listened too

Headline says it all. Love the man's voice and choice of words. The story teleports you into The Heavenfield and reality is no longer as exciting.

Author narrated offering a winner!

OK, so the title of this review says a lot. Generally, authors should not performers ( and, perhaps, vice versa ! ). This is most definitely not the case here. A fantastic performance by IG Hulme ( who clearly has career potential ahead of him as a performer if he so chooses ).
That said, what about the content? Creative, sometimes violent, very "out of the norm" and most definitely cross-genre. Horror? Tick? Supernatural? Tick. Scifi? TIck? Where do I stop? This is a sprawling, sometimes too much so, book which could likely benefit from some sharp editing and focussing.
That all said, this is an amazing book ( esp for fans of the 3 genres I noted ) and I highly recommend it.
