Best PA series out there!
Sam Sisavath's PURGE series and spin-offs are an automatic 1-click for me. Outstanding world development, characters who feel real, and danger that never ends. I re-read the books and re-listen to the audio over and over. A+ experience for readers.

Fantastically stress-inducing!
What a ride! I swear if I had taken my blood pressure during a couple scenes in this book it would have been through the roof. I'm still a little wound up even now.
Tokens was terrific. I wasn't sure what to expect, switching over to Ana's point of view, but I didn't need to worry, she was awesome- so tough and strong. Although there was a time or two when I was questioning her choices, but she was too so there's that.
Man, this was so stress-inducing. Just when I thought there might be some smooth sailing coming Ana's way, that she'd finally be on the road again to find Wash, bam, something else happened to ramp the ol' anxiety up.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have the finale, Remains, queued up to start on my drive to work tomorrow.
Amber Lee Connors narration was fantastic! Definitely glad I listened to the book instead of reading- it brought this story to a whole other level! I really enjoyed her perfomance of Ana, as well as the side characters. I see she's not doing the narration for the last book, I wonder why? I hope the female narrator for Remains is up to the challenge, she's got some big shoes to fill!
I'm going to have to look into other books she's narrated.

Takes a long--long time
Listened to Volume 1 & 2. In both books the author goes to great--great--great lengths in descriptions. In Tokens, it took one actor almost 10 minutes (listening on audible) to walk down a short flight of stairs as the author goes to such great length to describe every detail of the concrete wall the actor sees, along with every memory every small spot seen brings back. I'll try one more book but after that, I believe I'm done with Audible.
