One of the best sagas I have ever read. The story is original, the characters deeply connect, the journey and development are fantasctic.

Aubrey Parsons and Iain Robb Wright are a tremendous duo. Some of the best narration I have heard, bringing great characters to life.

Such a gem

First of all this was a story about friends on a quest. It begins with a bachelor party in Scotland and a shocking discovery that could end the world. The characters are well drawn and likeable. You care for them and want to go from chapter to chapter well into the night. Every book in this series is strong and always something new to challenge the heroes. There was never a dragging part. Cursing is used at the right moments, not gratuitous. I did a little myself at the bad characters. Humour too. Read this if you are a fan of horror, science fiction, romance and thrillers. I think it is ok for 16 + age group. Depends on the reader. I will look for other novels from this author.

A new kind of hero

This wonderful set of novels was filled to brimming with imagination, excitement and suspense. I read so much that I usually have things figured out pretty quickly but this kept me guessing and intrigued. I loved all of the characters, especially Cameron and Aaron. I thought it was going to be just another end of the world book but I had a big pleasant surprise in store. It was well written and beautifully narrated. I am American so I had to replay a few spots and Cameron took some effort to understand but the more I listened the easier it became to catch the accents. I highly recommend this for anyone with a zest for adventure and battles, sprinkled with a dusting of horror, a smidge of humor and touch of love mixed in.

A very good read.

A little different than the usual apocalypse stories I normally read but the story pulled me in. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and recommend you give it a try.

Entertaining

Enjoyed it, lots of action and drama. The voice actor did a great job too.

Never lost interest

I can't say enough about The Spread except that it was a great series and another great read/listen from one of my favorite authors.

Story/series was fantastic!!

I have been a longtime fan of Iain Rob Wright. After finishing this series I still am and even more so. Loved the story and the characters, they were great. Aubrey Parsons does a phenomenal job with narration. Thank you, Iain Rob Wright for making an old guy happy for thirty six plus hours. Look forward to your future work.

Peak sci-fi/horror

This was a fantastic listen from start to finish! I feel like I grew with the characters and am legitimately sad to say goodbye.
As a huge horror and sci-fi fan, these books hit that nail on the head. I’m excited to read more stories from Iain Rob Wright.

Sad it came to an end.

The narrator was amazing. I could see it all going on in my heading like a movie.
