The Emperor's vision of mankind ascendant lies in tatters. The Great Crusade is naught but a fading memory.

The dream of Unity is no more. But with Horus' rebellion spreading to every corner of the Imperium and war engulfing new worlds and systems almost daily, there are some who now ask: were the signs there to be seen all along?

In these dark times, only one thing is certain - the galaxy will never know peace again, not in this lifetime or a thousand others....

It wasn’t bad, it just feels like there are too many short stories in this series.

Most of the anthology collections i take with a grain of salt. They will have one or two that are fantastic...the rest...meh...not bad, not good. Thia one however...War Without End was fantastic. Each and every story masterfully written. Alot of tie ins to previous books in the series so if you have been reading them all and in order several of the stories here will hit especially good.

Everything.

Similar to other Horus Heresy books in this section of the story, imnothing felt necessary. Many fun storylines were progressed and there were some excellent tales that really struck home. The performance of the voice actors was the best selling point. In its entirety, it continues some minor points, connects a few dots and sets up some epic stuff. Very good.

Fun, slow story progression
