Narrator talked at you

The content was helpful but the narrator did not speak from a place of groundedness. I felt talked at as a result and it made it harder to absorb the information.

Okay for the genre, but could be better produced.

The first couple of chapters were good, the middle fell flat, and the end picked up a bit but also wasn't much content that the author came up with - more like a regurgitation of other therapist's tools.

The reader was also pretty boring to listen to after awhile. very little change in tonality/inflection with different sentence structures and content.

Online content with worksheets/conversation starters/journal prompts would also have been valuable.

Good basic info but terrible narration

This was just not a good narrator match. It felt agitating and like I was being talked at. The info was good basic info on attachment theory and was worth finishing the book. I liked the attached PDF as well!

no comment

The story and the story teller were slow. I just couldn't get into it. I was not moved or involved at all.

I’ve read many books about Attachment Theory. This was not one of the better ones.

Not a good audiobook

The author jumps back and forth a lot so the material was definitely hard to follow in an audio format. The narrator was also hard to listen to as well. Could have been better.

Poor narration

I found this very difficult to follow. The narrator had strange breath stops and mispronunciations. I found myself distracted from the content.

Great book!

This book sums up every YouTube video that I have watched on the subject of attachment theory. I listened to the book twice just to get what I may have missed.

Relationship Savvy I wish I'd had 50 years ago

Just the pdf worksheets identifying your attachment style are worthy of selecting this book. Thais Gibson's life altering advice applies to persons with either largely insecure or more nearly secure attachment styles. Knowing attachment theory can set your relationships on firmer ground. ~ Adrienne

Terrible narration and elementary information

I found the narration so mind numbingly hard to follow, so boring. The Information is quite basic and elementary yet over explained repeatedly.
