Publisher's summary

It wasn’t meant to be this way - she shouldn’t have fallen for my brother and left me for him. But she did. And now I’m left to pick up the pieces of my shattered, broken heart. And to top it off, they want me to come to their wedding. Do they think I’m a pushover? Do they think of me as a joke?

The old saying stands true, "Why have enemies when you can have family?"

I understand it now, better than I ever have in my life.

There’s one unexpected surprise though: Storm. She blew in just like one and makes the pain diminish. She’s exactly as her name describes her - she is a storm. A beautiful and powerful one.

But not all things are meant to last. Like a storm that wreaks havoc, some things cause anguish, and in my life she may very well be one of them.

All books in the series can be listened to as stand-alone stories.

Oh My Heart

This book had me in my feelings no doubt. My heart ached for Echo. He gave his all to a woman and was let down in the biggest most disturbing way. Storm came through and flipped his life upside down, he never stood a chance at walking away from her. She made him believe in love and truly understand it. I love the way this story was written, and the performance from the readers was amazing!

Better than the first

Echo was the most interesting side character to me in the first so I was excited that his was the next story. I liked his story and how he grew. I really loved Storm. There is a lot in this one that wasn't really explained fully or even resolved well which was disappointing but overall again I enjoyed it and the narration.

Loved the Story

The woman & man were real people with real problems. They communicated well without tons of misunderstandings. I did not like the sound of the lead male’s voice. I am enjoying this series. Thank U 4 not having any spanking of an adult female 4 getting out of line as determined by the male.

Superb!

the writing and the presentation is superb. I love the character Echo of all the 4 men. His story is realistic and heartwarming. Would love more to his story and hoping for a reunion with his brother and an end to Serena. How about children for Echo and Red (Storm)

Oh the Anguish

So we finally get to hear Echo’s story and what the hell happened with him and his girlfriend for her to turn around and start dating his brother. All I can say is Echo’s family is all sorts of f***ed up. I mean they did and said some really hateful things to each other and for the life of me I couldn’t understand why. It’s not even really explained why the parents are that way to him during the book but they are just as bad as his own brother. So luckily he meets Storm and they start having a casual fling. We all know how this is going to go… one thing leads to another and all of a sudden, it’s not fun and games anymore. Feelings start making themselves known on both sides but Storm and Echo are not the only two who’s got feelings … oh no. Because that would be too easy. This book isn’t called Anguished for no reason. The feels are all over the place. Really good read.

Really got into this one

This one just was great. It hits on a few things that some people have issues with and is really well written. Still a bit on the darker side, not as dark as the first novel in the series. Even better than the first book.

Happy Surprise

Character development and story more thought out and less jumpy than the first book. Looking forward to the next 2 books.

Erotica

I almost didn’t read this book because it began with descriptive sex scene but if you’re not into erotica, skip over those because there is a great storyline. Narration was good. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the explicit sex.
