Great listen

A very good story. Fascinating insights. Interesting that she and her son watched the Battle of Bunker Hill live, from a nearby hill. This book went by very fast.

Charming lecture about a fascinating founder

Prof. Allitt always delivers with a fun and charming lecture about historical figures - this one is no exception. This would be a great way to see if you enjoy his style of lecture - though it is hard to imagine that anyone who loves history wouldn't love this professor.

Despite being short, this was also a wonderful introduction to one of our founding mothers, a brilliant woman to admire.

Fascinating woman; great lecturer

Abigail Adams is a fascinating person from the revolutionary war. I very much enjoyed this lecture. I appreciate how Prof. Allitt described her negative as well as positive qualities. He’s a favorite lecturer in all respects.
