Steamy, Fun Novella!!

This is a fun story, with likable characters and an adorable dog! I loved Callie and Drew's personalities, they were hilarious. Especially, with their interactions together!! The story is a novella length and doesn't take too long to complete. It has plenty of steam (both literal and figurative) and enough sexual tension to make things fun!
The story is told in multiple POVs, main ones include Drew and Callie with two other characters getting in a chapter as well. I think the bonus POVs added nicely to the story.

The narrator does a fine job. He's articulate and easy to understand. I also enjoyed the emphasis he placed on words to make them seem more in character and to go with the scenes.

office hanky-panky

Drew is a billionaire, with the expected money, power, and ambition. He is also sweet, and loves his dog. Overall he is a good person. He meets a lady in a bar. to find out the next day she was hired as his personal assistant. I had difficulties accepting the portion of the story with the boss sleeping with his employee. There is so much legal risk there. The story was fun, plenty of humor. and engaging.

I was not a fan of the voice presentation, it just seemed a bit off, and didn't flow naturally. I was able to get past that, and get into the story.

All In!

I so enjoyed Callie and Drew's story. It is a fairly short and quick read, or in my case listen. I love the characters and the plot was fun and enjoyable. These two meet at a 10K run and he tries to hire her. I love the connection between these characters. I enjoyed every bot of this one and thought the narrator did a great job!

I wish the background story was discussed between the characters. So that we could see the reactions. I also wish the narrator tried a little harder with the voices.

standalone romance

This is a short, sweet and steamy romance. Told from multiple points of view. Our main characters are Callie and Drew. The storyline line is fast paced and is a romance relationship disguised as a job which idk how I feel about. I think my biggest problem was with the narration which made it initially hard to follow and know whose point of view was being told. Dry and monotone overall ir was just hard to listen to but the storyline saved the review!

This bread ok. It just needs to be a little longer. That will give you a more in-depth understanding of how the met and fell in love.

Can they overcome their inhibitions?

Great story. I really enjoyed how the author told Callie & Drew's story. Drew is your typical rich billionaire who thinks too much of himself & Callie is an overworked social worker. With the sparks that fly between Callie & Drew will they give in to the desire swirling around them or will they allow inhibitions to hold them back?
I look forward to more from this author.

Drew and Callie are well written and nicely developed. Multiple Pov's Good chemistry and banter. Loved Mavis. I would have loved to have mulitple narrators but Brian Copeland did a wonderful job. Good read.

Hot Billionaire Boss Romance

This book has a little of everything romance, drama, running, comedy, stalker, and a dog. Callie is a social worker and is looking for a new job. Callie meets Drew, a tech billionaire, at a 10K. They are both attracted to one another. Drew has been known to be a player in the past. Drew offers Callie a job as his personal assistant, really more to get a date than anything. Callie finds out the job is mostly taking care of Drew's dog, Mavis, who hates everyone but her. In the past Mavis has run off all of Drew's girlfriends. Things get hot and steamy, literally between Drew and Callie. There is a lot of drama towards the end of the book. Cute, short, and has many funny parts.
