Publisher's summary

Heralded as the saviors of the Arathian species for their ability to procreate with the infertile Arathians, Earthers are honored citizens on Arath. While his son and extended family seem to be enjoying their new lives on the alien planet, the young widower, Conall MacLeod, feels like he doesn’t have a purpose in their extraordinary world.

His future is forever changed when he meets an Arathian male and female who make him wish for a second chance at love. But nothing is ever easy…

Conall’s self-identity is entrenched in the idea that he’s a monogamous - and heterosexual - man, yet he finds himself unexpectedly lusting after two people, one of them, shockingly, male. He can’t deny that he craves things he’s never wanted before, but if he’s ever going to find love again, he must get past his insecurities and rewrite his own self-image.

Onalee Cormikan is the co-heiress to Cormikan Industries, the leading medical research firm on Arath, which is devoted to finding a cure for their infertility. Considered reclusive by her peers after the tragic death of her parents, she’s content to support her older brother in the search for a cure... until she meets Brogan, Conall, and his family.

They make her yearn to step out of her possessive brother’s shadow, and explore what - and who - she wants in life.

Brogan is a First Lieutenant of the Arathian Royal Guard, entrusted with the protection of Arath’s soon-to-be monarchs. Solely dedicated to his job, he never expected to find a future outside his passion for his work. Yet Conall’s internal struggles seem to stand in the way of their happy future together as a trio. It’s a good thing Brogan likes a challenge.

Conall’s struggle with his sexuality isn’t the only problem facing the threesome.

Awesome story...I love the Arathians...need more!!

I loved the entire series. The female characters are strong and opinionated. The male characters are brave and protective, but they also work alongside their partners to become a cohesive unit. I hope more books are forthcoming in this series and more audio books please. I wish I could be a part of the Arathians world, sexy, sensual and loving.

Another hot book by Nicole!

I really enjoyed this book!! The Romance, the suspense, the tension; Nicole was able to bring all of these things together into one hot book!
This book combines the stories of the Arathian series and the Sirilian series into one, and after finishing this book I am looking forward to more stories/books this world.

Romance

Great story, this is best read or heard as I did audiobook right after the second Sirilian book. You get to see what happens to the family as they move from earth to Arath. This is not a standalone so read the previous arathians and sirilian books so you have a better grasp of many of the characters that are interacted with on the story. I loved it and can’t wait for more. Don’t want to give anymore details because then it leads to spoilers.

Last Book In the Series.... So Far? (Pleeeeease?!)

This was the last book in the Arathian/Sirilians series and by far my FAVORITE! (although I loved them all.) This one centers around Conall, Ashlyns brother from Unearthed. Conall has lost a lot in his life and made sacrifices for his family that haven't necessarily made him happy. Starting life on a new planet hasn't been easy for him but he finds a little happiness when he meet Onalee, a shy girl who is also looking for a purpose while living under her brother's thumb. Throw in Brogan, a sexy Lieutenant in the royal guard, and some confusing feeling of attraction from a man who considered himself straight and you're off to an interesting start. The heat factor goes through the roof when it's reveled they all have romantic feelings towards each other. I love a good menage! The story is only made better with added intrigue of a royal assassination plot and some sinister dealings behind the scenes. (trying not to include spoilers.) I'm really hoping the author continues in this world with more stories! I enjoyed them immensely.

Narration - I feel like I have been very fangirly (is that a word? LOL) over Lessa Lamb because of these books but hey... It is what it is! The narration was awesome. The emotion and the accents..... OH the accents! They were the best part of the books for me! She really made the story come alive.

I highly recommend this series and that it be read in order according to Nicole Krizek's website. It will make much more sense that way!

Great ménage sci-fi romance!

This fourth audiobook in this series was very entertaining. The heroine is the sister of the man whose company is trying to find a cure for their infertility. The heroes are the brother of a woman who married an Arathian and one of the royal security guards. The story has just the right amounts of romance, sex and suspense. Narration was excellent.

Enjoyable even with gaps

Earther Conall MacLeod has moved to Arath with his family when his sister Ashlyn married Reus, an alien.
Conall is unsure what to do with himself in this strange new world but, before he can figure that out, his world is turned upside down again when he meets Onalee and Brogan.
It will be interesting to see if the author writes more in the series following the revelations of Forkan’s actions.
Again, if you can ignore many gaps in the story, you can enjoy this. As much as gaps get to me, I’ve bought ebooks and audio of the series.
Who knows, maybe the author was considering a secondary murder mystery with Ozgur the disappearing butler ???
Be prepared for M/F and M/F/M relations with a tentative M/M relationship.
Lamb and Krizek seem to be a good pairing, but could you edit a little more? Please?

amazing and addictive!

I loved this book! I thought Onnalee was a great heroine so calm and unnassuming until what she loves most is threatened - then the mouse roars and she has a back bone of steel! The Macleod family were a fantastic mix of odd-ball absolutely adorable! There was non-stop action and intrige, betrayal and plenty of hot, steamy romance all narrated in Lessa Lambs wonderfully expressive voice, I highly recommend this book!

Not what I’d hoped

I really wanted to like this. I liked Nicole’s other MMF but this one has maybe 2 sexy times. Call me crazy but I expect an alien MMF to be fairly erotic. Unfortunately this is not. Disappointed. :(
