Publisher's summary

Tiffani Simpson has a nice orderly life, and she loves it. She gives her all to her work every day. When she loses her job and accepts a position working for the McClain Boys’ Ranch, things change, but she can accept small changes. What she can’t accept is the most handsome man she’s ever met as her boss. She doesn’t believe in dating someone she works with, so it’s hard to know what to do about him.

Adam McClain, following his father’s advice, hires Tiffani Simpson as the ranch’s new fundraising coordinator. As an empath, he has a difficult time being too close to people, but there’s something about Tiffani that draws him toward her. When he finds himself in a situation where he feels he has to choose between her and the work he’s always known he was born to do, he gets confused. Can he make it work to be with Tiffani and take care of his boys? Or will he choose to spend the rest of his life alone?

Wholesome romance that intoduces an unusual family

I enjoy love at first sight novels. Kirsten Osbourne created an almost magical connection between the couple that made me anxious for the heroine to realize it.This novel has some connection to two of Ms. Osbourne's other series which I also liked. I don't want to give away details but suffice it to say that the story follows the oldest son of a family who fosters teen boys. There is such a feeling of family love that even I felt wrapped in it.
I have listened to this narrator before and although she isn't my favorite she did an outstanding job in this audiobook and shows great growth in her craft.

I definitely recommend this short audiobook as one not to miss if you like family-oriented romance and tender heroes.

Good story; poor narration

This story would be so much more enjoyable with a better narrator. Instead it was hard to listen to the whole story. Very choppy and unprofessional.

The first of seven brothers

Great start for this series. Kirsten is a great story teller and this series is not different. Great characters and plot. This may be a preference thing, but I personlally did not like the way Miranda West narrated the story, but don't let that influence your listening, you may love the way she performs. :)
