It seems that Baby Taylor has it all: love, happiness, and a blossoming new career. But when her soon-to-be husband is arrested on federal charges on her wedding day, her life takes a turn for the unexpected.

With nowhere to go, she finds herself at the mercy of her best friend, Mona, and Mona's husband, Memphis. But with the past that Memphis and Baby share, things begin to get even more complicated, and taboo emotions that Baby buried long ago threaten to come to the light.

When she finds herself weak to resist love's call, will she be strong enough to do what is right, or will she fall victim to the urgings of her heart?

Great book with a story line that you can follow along with. I wish it was a part 3.

It’s about two people that love each other but lies got in the way I hope they find each other

the storyline was great, but the ending sucked. there are so many unanswered questions. there should be a book 2

It was a pretty good plot that just hit a brick wall at the end. The details that were built up in the story kinda left too many questions unanswered. Is there a part two? If so then this book makes sense…otherwise, I’m so confused.

Ummm??

Great book but the narrator keeps changing accents. Makes the story kinda cringe. Also the main character seems very green

l have had this title in my library for a long time...but l kept skipping over it because l wasn't sure l'd like it. However, today l finally started listening to it...and l was pleasantly surprised by how much l liked it. The characters really grew on me...l liked the storyline, the character development, and the narration. l would recommend this book.👌🏾

I fell in love with the characters and I was waiting for a romance to develop around the main characters. Then the story left me hanging and the ending dropped me. I loved the story and was on the edge of my seat for every moment until the abrupt end. Waiting for Part 2!

A Romance to Wait For

I enjoyed the story and I wish it was a bit longer. My only issue was with the narrator going in and out of a southern accent that seemed oddly misplaced.

This was a slow burn book. but I am really mad that Mo stepped in the way from Baby be with Memphis because she was jealous.

Amazing

The book was short & didn't really need to have a sequel. It could've save the trouble & just picked part as the next chapter on this one. Also, bless this narrators heart. I'm not clear why she randomly went to her HORRIBLE southern accent.

Just ok
