What did you like best about A Little Sunshine? What did you like least?

I liked the narration in A Little Sunshine.As always she brings the characters to life. I really felt that both of these people should be in counseling.

Has A Little Sunshine turned you off from other books in this genre?

No it has not turned me off from the genre. I just felt I had to go back and listen again as I must have missed something. When I found I had not it was really frustrating with all her daydreaming.

Which scene was your favorite?

The ending when he is romantic like an adult would be. I really felt that both these people were going to have problems in when real life happens to them.

Do you think A Little Sunshine needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No It would be too sad.

DDlg book

I received a free copy for an honest review.

I am all for DDlg books, this one sadly did not captivate me. I enjoyed the narrators acting and voices for the main characters. I wish the story made me feel for the characters, have a bit more heart and showed the beauty of DDlg lifestyle better.

This book was written by Abbie Adams, Maggie Ryan and narrated by Meghan Kelly. Sunny is a librarian and is excited about her all-inclusive vacation in Cancun. When her friend is not able to go with her she is prepared to stay home. However, her friend convinces her to go by herself. This book was different that I have listened to in the past, it got confusing with all the daydreaming going on and it was confusing. I also really didn't like the story line with the "daddy fetishes"

The narrator Meghan Kelly did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.

3.5 Sunshine Stars

Sunny goes on an all-inclusive vacation to Cancun, her best friend was supposed to join her but her family got sick and she had to stay behind and tend to them.

It was a little bit predictable but not at the same time. Sunny enjoys fantasizing about a naughtier side to sex starring her best friend’s brother, Trent. I enjoyed the fantasy parts of the book it keeps you wondering that’s for sure.

I am totally fine with the kink of this book other than the “daddy” parts. I don’t know why that word just doesn't do it for me. But to each there own I say. If that’s what you’re into who am I to say it’s not right.

I did very much enjoy the trust Trent needed and wanted before moving forward with something. I think that gave him more depth since he stared in the book but wasn't really in the book for a long time if that makes sense.

The story was an interesting one with lots of daydreams, however they caused me to be confused as to what was happening from time to time. I had to restart and listen again several times to see if I could follow what was going on. The erotic daydreams were very steaming and a good eargasim. The narrator did a good job and wasn't an annoying voice, the story was what could be considered a little annoying due to the writing style.

I really like the story. There were some parts that threw me off. But overall, I really feel like it was a nice escape to listen to sunshine tall tales...

Fun read

I thought the fantasizing went on for too long. The ending was cute though. The narrator did an amazing job.

Would you listen to A Little Sunshine again? Why?

No!!!!!! The story-line was hard to follow. I goes back and forth from reality to dream/fantasy and makes you crazy.

An occasional Daddy in a story is ok, but that is all Sunny sees in men. Its like serious daddy issues. And the way it is portrayed I was starting to feel a little creeped out! And Trent want to be called daddy (or maybe it was in Sunny's head) all the time was feeling a little like he had serious child molester issues. And Toby Keith's song who's your daddy kept playing in my head! The narration was awesome! I have listened to Meghan Kelly before and she does a great job.

not for me

I am not a fan of the daddy & little girl play but thought I would try this one. It was all over the place with her dreams versus real life. Narrator was not good. I did not like this one. sorry bit not for me.
