I think this story is pretty good

Pretty good story but a little teenage storyline as far as the sex scene.

Ok! I liked some of the story but was not a big fan of the sexy scenes, the descriptions and dialogue just wasn't my cup of tea. I think the narrator did a good job telling it!

Cute short story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I enjoyed this short story. Amy Star put suspense, thrill, and romance in a short story. It was not a deep story, but enjoyable. The characters were well developed. I was wondering how she was going to end the story with a three-way relationship. I thought it was a complete story. Overall, it was an enjoyable listen. After all, that is what fantasy is all about.

This story was pretty good. Callie had a relationship with Jake and Bobby before she left town. When she returned, their relationship picked up again even after many years. I did not like the ending and felt it should have continued a little longer to give us more information about Jake, Bobby and Callie. Meghan Kelly did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Bear-y Enjoyable...

I enjoyed the book and the narration. It was fun and a quick listen.
This is definitely one of my fav authors to listen to.

I was given this book in return for my unbiased opinion. I honestly thought it was a pretty good story. I am Amy Star fan so it had some hotness to it which I LOVE and a little story to it..I wasn't so intersted in the Elder's Cave but we need some drama and so that was right smack in the center of the drama. I would recommend this quick read, it has sex, shifters and drama, oh and great narration.

Probably not. Some of the language choices were a little odd, which left me a little confused in places, and the story doesn't flow very well, probably because of how much story is crammed into a shorter book.

What did you like best about this story?

The world creation dealing with the cave was great, I was left wanting to know more about the cave, and the First ones, and what happens to Bobby.

What about Meghan Kelly’s performance did you like?

Meghan Kelly did a great job keeping me interested in the book when I would have stopped listening. The personalities of the characters shine through in their voices.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Bobby's eyes started glowing in the cave, and you know something is about to happen.

was not my favorite book...

Ok to be honest, it took me a bit to get into this book. I love shifter books. But felt this one started off just as any other.
I also thought the sex scenes where written for teenagers, not adults. They were not hot at all. talking about Muffs and Bushes and pubic hair! Yuck! Makes me think of 70s porn
I didn't like her using words like " rear, or buttocks," " he humped her to orgasm". "she gave him Fellatio" no other words to describe things, just that.
i do not mind sex in books at all, but if you write sex scenes, please add some heat to them. they were kind of a let down. And sadly funny.
The story was not awful, but it could of been way more developed with out the childish sex scenes.

I love shape-shifter romance and Her Twin Bears by Amy Star truly fit the bill. It is also a story about a person being different, and understanding the differences not being wrong. OK, enough of the morality section of this review. I loved the relationship of these three people, and how it began as friendships, then attraction, then full fledged love.
I am not going to rehash the blurb of the book, you already know what it is about, or you would not be reading the reviews. I will say that this is a wonderful story, wonderfully written, and very in depth considering it is a novella. I was gifted with an audio copy of this book from the performer Meghan Kelly for my honest opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute listening to this book. Ms. Kelly performed the book in a way that took you into the story as much as the story did itself.
This book totally did what I want a good book to do, take me away from my life for a few hours. I look forward to reading and/or listening to more from Ms. Star and Ms. Kelly in the future.
