I’m so saddened

The second book in the series is very gruesome, it’s not written for the faint hearted. Angelita is one heard core women, she did what no man couldn’t do for a long time and the way it was done made me cringe but enjoyed the revenge at the same time time. I was very surprise by the ending, it’s not what I expected and I cried hard after how it end. I was so heartbroken for Anton he’s so delicate and should have been left alone because he did not want the type of life Angelita live. Enzo, it’s about time man, sucks to be you. Again it’s a gruesome second book but it’s still enjoyable.

Tense action filled

A Destiny to Die for 2...
A tense and gripping .. The follow on to book 1. That has as much action and violence as its predecessor. And very graphic in places.
Great entertainment for anyone who likes action thrillers.

Revenge hits back

Wow I really enjoyed this book, I enjoyed book one but that was setting the scene for this book so I liked this one even more, as there was a lot of action. I think you have to have listened to book one before this one as it continues from where it left off and explained a lot that was unsaid in the first book. It is a bit violent but not over the top as most of it was directed at the bad guys and that was okay, I didn't need tissues (I cry at Disney films) as they deserved it. I wasn't expecting the ending so that came as a surprise.
Angelita found drug money and used that to fund her own crew to make some money to leave the favela but by doing this she stepped on some dangerous toes and when they strike back by killer her brother she goes on a rampage by striking back.
The only problem is now Angelita has a lot more to lose and not just her life.
I liked the narrator as she did a good job with each of the characters.

Old Life Ends New Life

Book two is almost better than book one, but I suggest you get book one first to familiarise yourself with the characters. Rising from the slums of Brazil, this story follows the young woman who started as a child pickpocket and is now a paid assassin. Her love, and desire to quit the trade , is her destiny of death. I was gifted this from the author.

Another excellent story and performance

If you loved book 1 you will love Book 2. The story continues seamlessly, and is full of emotion and drama.

The narration is excellent and the performance engages you with the lives of the characters.
