Realistic Survival Fiction
I received a review copy of this audiobook.
I really enjoyed this story. I've enjoyed zombie fiction in the past, but more in spite of the zombies than because of them. This story has basically all that I like from those without the absurdity of undead. I'm not enough of an expert to assess realism in the techniques invoked, but it holds up to my layman's eye.

Really Liked
Great book from start to finish! Will be getting the rest of this series! Great book for the money.. won't be wasting your money or time! Narration was fabulous as well. Can't ask for better.

story line was decent, the narrator sounded like my GPS giving directions.

It seemed to drag along at the beginning. The heroine was unrealistic in her situation and later her situational awareness. Will I continue this series no I don’t believe so.

Great characters
Fast paced post apoc . Plenty of action and some great characters.
Nothing unique in the plot but Jack Hunt is one of the best post apocalypse writer around these days. and as usual delivers great entertainment.
Narration is good clear and concise.

good plot, alot of cursing in some parts.
Performance was lacking, sounded like most people owned a plantation in the south, from Boston, or Canadian.
Also strange how traumatic events can happen and the characters be nonchalant a little bit later.
Plot was good. Minor inconsistency with Tyler as a smoker. Will chance the next book, hopefully less foul lang.
