Stunningly Beautiful!

Started listening at 11:00PM, and could not stop listening. So needless to say did not sleep, but it was well worth it!

The relationship and love of these two boys into manhood was so poignant and lovely. It was not without it angst, and at times I became so agitated over the fear and lack of communication I wanted to scream, but finally their courage overruled their fear.

The performances were stellar!!!

I love this story

I love characters that have endearing traits. These characters are both so easy to like. The story has a slow burn, which is something else I also like. Highly recommend!

I am moved

This book is so damn moving! I just finished listening and I can’t stop crying and this is a definite first for me. I honestly can’t say that I’ve been moved to tears before reading this book. It’s tricky to get emotions out of me and joy doesn’t =/= sobbing for me. With that said, I am moved and I don’t know what to do with my hands.

I still have 4 hours left in my work day, and I really want to feign sick so I can just go feel in peace while considering all of the love and beauty and sparkly blue oceans whilst sobbing uncontrollably. Sheesh! Slow clap for all parties involved.

Really beautiful story. And as an autistic person, I really appreciate the representation through the neurodivergence lens.

Awesomely beautiful

My heart was extremely touched by this wonderful, enriching journey of two boys meeting at 10 and immediately bonding. Although life took them in different directions they always found their way back to each other. The old adage that 'if you love something set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If not, it was never meant to be' most definitely fit for this story. Blake Lockheart and Liam DiCosimo are in my top 20 so almost anything they perform I enjoy.
