Sweet and funny

This was an absolutely sweet story. No angst or unnecessary drama. It’s not the kind of story I usually listen to. I tend to lean towards dark and broody, but this was a nice refreshing story that kept me laughing. Brad and Joey are both great characters.

5 Stars All over. Brad is EVERYTHING

First of all Emmy Sanders is my favorite MM author so... I may be a little biased.
That being said, this book hits every. mark. ever.
It's funny, it's sweet, it's spicy, and it's heartfelt! The love is so real.
I ADORE Brad, I love Joey and his patient little heart. Ugh. I want to live in the worlds that Emmy creates.
10/10 will absolutely read again (and every book Emmy writes.)

Love the trope of one MC thinking they are straight. This is really light hearted and has great character development. Great read!

This book has my whole heart

This book is the cutest, sweetest, funniest read of 2025 for me. But more importantly, the audiobook is a must listen. A++ narration. The voice actor played both parts perfectly and really captured the charming personalities of both characters. Bradley - what a beautiful, innocent, quirky, cuddling baby man. Immediately added to my annual list of re-reads.

I’m a huge Nick Russo fan, and he did not disappoint! Emmy is brilliant and Brad and Joey are creeping their way to the top of my favorite couple list. This book is SO feel good! Will be a common replay for me!
