Fell in love all over again

This is one of my favorite hockey series and listening to this audio had me falling in love with them all over again. The narrators did an amazing job bringing Jack and Mercy to life!

Great story loved both characters and each one was individually special i will definitely listen to again and can’t wait for the next book. It’s already purchased 🥹

*Swooning* MM Romance

I giggled, I swooned, I most definitely blushed, and I may have even shed a few tears. This book was funny, entertaining, had the right amount of angst, and so, so spicy.

Joe Arden once again gave an amazing performance not only as Mercy but an entire family, including Theo, the cutest kiddo EVER. If you’ve never heard him voice a kid, you are missing out. It’s adorable. This was the first book I’ve listened to by Zach Johnson, and let me say, he was perfect as the arrogant but sweet Jack. Together, both narrators elevated this book to a 5-star listen for me.

Mercy and Jack; they were a whirlwind of drama and sex; like a lot lol This was a journey of healing, self-love and taking chances even when you feel down.

It was a cute story. Mercy is definitely what Jack needs to feel grounded, the sense of self, and to be loved the way he should’ve been. Jack is what Mercy needs and it helps that he is absolutely obsessed with Jack.

I read this as an audible and as with all books by Joe Arden, I was absolutely obsessed. It’s a nice change to read a book where he’s not playing the psychopath. Mercy has chaotic, crash out moments that Joe does amazingly. 👩🏽‍🍳💋 I think this is a first book by Zachary Johnson and I’m not disappointed, definitely fits the 26 hockey vibe. Pairs perfectly against joe’s Mercy crash outs.

Swoon worthy 🔥

Thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story of Jack & Mercy. Some fantastic intimate scenes & lovely sweet dialogue.
Vocal performances were outstanding Zachary is one of my absolute favourites & Joe is masterful.
Definitely worthy of a credit. Cannot wait to listen to the next in the series.

So Much Heart, Heat, Humor and Hockey!

This book…it had the best 4 H’s - heart, heat, humor and hockey. Mercy and Jack were both aggressive and adorable. While they stumbled into love, I enjoyed how open and honest they were with themselves and each other so you had few if any miscommunications for long. The realism brought on because each of them knew and wrestled with their own personal past traumas made the story feel authentic. I was pleasantly surprised with how romantic this story was about bruising hockey players. And if you’re a hockey fan, the hockey descriptions were fantastic. The world-building for the series allowed us to get to know family and friends and those side relationships enhanced the story immensely. Now, the heat…good lord, 5 Hockey Hottie Peppers. I listened to the audio production which was duet style narration by the best-in-the-business Joe Arden and Zach Johnson. The audio performances were stellar. I had recently listened to Zach Johnson in another book, and he was so different in this book I thought it was a different performer, true talent. Joe Arden’s stoic yet tender performance of the broken Mercy who takes care of everyone and just needs his person to take care of him was deep and meaningful and done in a way only Joe can. And any book that has kid-voice Joe is an instant winner. Highly recommend this MM hockey romance for the heartfelt, passionate story and the stellar audio performances.

Joe and Zach did and AMAZING job narrating!! This book is full of heat, angst and hockey! I love a good MM hockey romance and this one did not disappoint!!

Stunning Narration

The narration, the story, the characters, just wow. I loved every bit of their journey and cant wait for book 2 in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5

Fantastic story! Amazing narrators!

You have a MMM love triangle, family issues, obsession, vulnerability, age gap, competitive personalities, jealousy, slight BDSM and so much more in this book! The story was well written and had sooooo much drama, love & humor! I don’t think I would change anything about this book! Can’t wait for the next ones in this series!!!

Let me just start by saying that the narrators did an amazing job! I absolutely love Duet narrations.


This is my very first MM romance and it didn’t disappoint!
If you like sports romances ( especially hockey) you should give this one a chance.

Mercy is someone that has been surrounded by failed relationships. His father has had multiple relationships and no one has stuck around. He’s scared to hand someone his heart because he thinks no one will stay.All his relationships are extremely superficial and physical until Jack comes along. He actually thinks he’s going to just be another fling, but things go in a whole different direction!


Enter Jack, his partner wants him to just stay at home and he just wants to Play hockey. What’s going to happen when these two collide?! You’ll just have to read to find out 😆

I actually thought the side characters in this series were absolutely hilarious. Especially the part where they try to make mercy jealous 😂. It was overall an enjoyable audiobook and I look forward to continuing the series
