Carter Morgan III hates everything about South Carolina University except for one thing: hockey.

As the starting netminder for the team, he lives for those moments when he can step onto the ice and between the pipes. Unfortunately, his time at school and on the team is slowly coming to an end. Although he'd love nothing more than to pursue a career in the NHL, he knows better than to get his hopes up.

Zeke Cassidy needs a place to live. When he answers an advertisement for a roommate, he's not sure what he is expecting except that it isn't Carter Morgan III. Carter is unfriendly and aloof, and they have nothing in common. Even so, the pair hit it off immediately and become friends.

Carter knows Zeke isn't interested in being anything beyond friends and roommates. Unfortunately, knowing this doesn't stop him from hoping for more, no matter how much he tries to convince himself it's impossible.

So cute and so not shy

This is such a fun listen and I found myself laughing and smiling and awwing at the characters.

I’m so sad I’m finished but this is a definite and easy reread so I can visit Zeke and Carter again. The smut is not shy and very vulnerable and I LOVE THAT!

the characters were ok but the voice overs were not so good I couldn't feel the emotion being shared by the voice over especially for the coach

i felt that the guys reading for the characters did a really great job. The storyline was also very decent too.

As always, Liam Dicosimo was amazing at narrating. I loved that while this book was smutty, they stayed true to the what Demi really is. Sometimes books don't do that. This was honestly a precious story with lots of feel goods.

Slow burn of the best kind

Zeke is an absolute doll🥰 I love how he gets Carter out of his head and more in tune with his heart ❤️

The characters were endearing and relatable

The best audiobook I’ve heard in more than a year. Superb storyline, just enough sex tales and most important, wonderful character development and story like. Zeke and Carter were perfect together. Can’t remember how many times I laughed out loud at their dialogue. I didn’t want the story to end. Bravo!

I really enjoyed that.

Writing and performance were good.
Two characters so very different from one another, and yet it works! It was a fun ride to see how their inauspicious meeting grew into a friendship and then more. All the nervous awkward steps along the way were adorable to watch unfold.

I’m looking forward to more stories by this author.

This was perfectly cute and lighthearted. The boys were adorable and so cute together. And the best part of all? No third act breakup 🤌🏻👏🏻🙌🏼

Such a sweet MM romance

“Shots On Net” 🏒 🏳️‍🌈 I loved this sweet @authorjjmulder hockey romance of roommates to friends to lovers! Even though Carter is grumpy and antisocial with almost everyone, he falls first and hard for his new roomie. He respects Zeke’s demisexuality and they become friends in this slow burn. Zeke also supports Carter in his real dreams and goals.
