Maybe I have an overactive imagination, but the hot guy next door totally gives off serial killer vibes. Why else would he know how long it takes to bleed out from a wound? Yeah, ok, so I asked, but it was research. Being an author definitely makes for some odd questions (someone had better clear my browser history when I die, that's all I'm saying). It's not like I'm stalking my hot neighbor or anything—there's nothing wrong with watching him out my window. Although I might have my own stalker (and not the cute harmless kind), which is kind of terrifying. Even if he isn't a serial killer, maybe my seriously sexy neighbor whose eyes seem to glow red (a trick of the light, I'm sure) can help me out.

How do you tell your cute neighbor that cutting off your fingers probably won't cause a victim to bleed out? I don't know if trying out Toby's writing ideas is a good method of flirting, but there's just something about him that calls to my hellhound. He's adorable, awkward, and all kinds of clueless. He brings out my protective instincts, and I find myself wanting to please him, even if that means figuring out some of the answers to his rather bloodthirsty questions. When I find out Toby might actually be in danger, nothing will stop my hellhound from protecting him. He's mine, even if he doesn't know it, and I'll tear apart anyone who even thinks of hurting him.

Romance junk food

Despite the Hellhounds, stalkers, and punishing the wicked themes, this is about as far are you get from Dark Romance. The cover art should be sporting pastels because this is bubblegum romance, where Hellhound Dexter is a total marshmallow and Toby is adorkable. The sex is open door, but not too descriptive or overwritten. This is fun, funny, and sweet- as long as you can roll with the “yeah, but he only tortures/kills bad people” scenes.

Funny sexy hellhound/human MM romance

Loved the narration!!! These characters (all of them!) amused and charmed me. Totally loved the torture and killing of the bad evil people by the hellhound pack! Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Best “blind purchase” ever

I saw this in my recommended purchases and took a chance on it. It’s so good I’ve read it easily 20 times (not an exaggeration). Highly recommend 🙌🏻

Hot Beginning of a Series

Both voice actors did great. The story was good and lead to some interesting things for the next books. I loved Dexter, he's sweet and just a bit unhinged.
I'm really looking forward to the other hellhounds finding there loves.

This was an absolutely adorable book! The humor was sooo good. Toby and Dex were great! Can't wait to dive into more of the series. Narration, as usual for Iggy and Alex was great!

Cute/fun/entertaining

It’s enjoyable story, and a cute premise.
When your super hot (but possibly a bit creepy) neighbor turns out to be a hellhound, and not just a run of the mill serial killer… I mean, he might do a little bit of serial killing on the side, but only to really bad people… and he’s super nice, and hot, and totally into you!!
When you’re a hellhound and your job is to find and kill irredeemable rotten souls, having a good-hearted, kind, smart, and super cute neighbor is a nice change of pace.
But when you don’t totally understand human culture it can be hard to know the appropriate way to act. How to keep and protect your new love interest (who feels like pack), without crossing the line to actual stalker… is getting him microchipped a bit too far???
Anyway, very cute and funny! Enjoyable story!!

Wish there had been a bit more back story or world building and that the story could have slowed down a bit starting at the reveal of the Hell Hounds but honestly that’s just because I didn’t want it to end!!!

Loved the eBook, this just made me love it more!

Great narration. The voices were spot on, and I loved how you knew who was talking at any given time. Well worth every penny!
