28 Hours of Gruesome Action | The Complete Undead Trilogy Box Set

He thought he was at rock bottom. Then the world blew up. Now, he’s the only one that can save the city. But it may take more than he has to give . . .

Detective Kurt Weller has been framed, shamed, and beaten. And now he wakes up to the end of the world.

Bombs are dropping, and dead people are trying to eat him. But Weller just can’t seem to let go of the very human conspiracy that ruined his life before the world went to hell.

Lucky for him, the zombie apocalypse has brought out some other undead fiends — the kind that have been living off of humanity’s scraps for centuries.

When one of these abominations approaches Weller and offers to help him protect the city against the unholy horde of brain-dead zombies, he can’t say no.

As the two form an uneasy alliance, they face off against villains both human and supernatural as they fight to save the city. But their biggest threat could come from right under their noses . . .

In reading this trilogy I wondered if I would lose interest as I had with some other trilogies. No I did not. The story was fresh. The character development was excellent. Scary villains and gruesome fight scenes. The narrator was fantastic too. Thanks!

I read all three books.

This is one of the best of the apocalypse genre and I should know because I have read literally over 100 zombie books.
A myriad of evil villains and of course the funny complex hero.
I will be searching for other books by this author because he is a superior writer.
This trilogy is a must read!!!

Excellent story and characters

As I started the book, I didn’t think the vampires and zombies were going to work! But, then here comes the Detective! Oh my goodness! I am glad I got the trilogy! I couldn’t stop listening to it! Just when I thought it was over….here comes another fight! A must read!

Zombies, Vampires, and Werewolves?

Interesting take on the Z-Poc, and great characters. I enjoyed the performance as well. As someone who is waiting for the next installment from other authors’ long epics, this was a fun detour.

Unique angle to the apocalypse!

Post Apocalyptic

There were times when it absolutely made sense that all of these events could be happening at once. Love the writing and complex characters. Wish there was more to the series.. I wanna know what happens next and if the detective ever figured out the song stuck in his head.

A zombie, vampire and werewolf walks into a bar… completely plausible in this world.

I enjoyed the Undead Trilogy. The narration was amazing..
Weller was a really cool main character. He was funny, brave, impulsive, and uniquely noble .
In the last book, I wish there had been a little bit more zombie action, the zombies were not very well defined in the last entry.
Andres was a maniacal villain but not greatly defined, it never really goes into detail as to why he wants all the power that he craves.
Fred was introduced kind of late into the series, but he was funny and easy to root for.
I felt like the conclusion was rather abrupt. We never really find out what happens to all of our characters after the great showdown.
Lots of weird creatures, lol, monkeywerewolves, and giant manbats.
All in all, though I enjoyed the series, it kept my attention. It was fast paced with lots of descriptors, touches of humor, and some pretty gruesome gory action.

Gruesome good fun

The story is unique, but after a while it becomes redundant with the "walking dead" references and the use of names from other shows. the white guys are the "bad" guys. pretty much over it, some may think it's an OK read, but absolutely nothing to write home about .

Not what the reviews say
