I liked the book, loved all the survival scenarios of the family. I just didn’t like how it ended I needed more info , like the family had made it to the north or a settlement to finally be safe it just ended with our an ending but all and all it was a good book

Good Story

This is a good apocalypse series. The ending has me wanting the next book to find out what happens. The storyline keeps you wanting and rooting for the family to make it.

Great Zombie Series, realistic and compassionate

I really loved this series. I like that it was long and the way the characters weaved in and out. Very enjoyable. The Ai voice was good. It wasn’t robotic. The author has empathy for people. The characters always had introspection and compassion. It was not filled with curse words or unnecessary sex scenes. Excellent job. I went on to read the sixth and seventh book too. Will there be more books?

Ruined by reader's tone death performance

The books is overall entertaining for zombie fans, although the characters remain completely shallow and without personality. The reader's performance is emotionally disconnected and totally inappropriate for the tone. Maybe it's AI. The annoying cadance ends each chapter in a way that I was left thinking the sentence wasn't even finished. Would have definitely enjoyed the book more with a competent performer.

I bought the full set but it only read book one. Good story wish I would have got what I paid for.
