Ok no also this is just a damn good book with a damn good take on zombies. There are some minor technicalities that leave me with questions but nothing worth knocking a star off for. Some people found the pre-Dave section tedious but I feel that's up to taste. Personally, I really enjoy reading about the initial outbreak from the view of a solitary person. The normality, the mild concern, the dawning realization and panic, and the first 48 hours of frantic fumbling to escape and understand in the chaos. It's realistic. It's how a real person would respond and not an instant Rambo survivalist. It's growth. Bravo!

I quite enjoyed this book. It's been a while since I listened to it, so I can't give details. I just remembered that I enjoyed it so much that I immediately purchased book 2.

Well written. Great narration. Can't wait to start the next one in the series. I highly recommend the series .

interesting book

this story has some pluses and minuses. zombie stripper, naive main character who should have died early in the story, but enough character to keep me listening.

Worth a listen

This story is better written than a lot of other Zombie stories. With a total of 10 parts, I can't wait to see how the story evolves and how the storytelling will hopefully catch up with the technical writing skills. Looking forward to more!

Excellent zombie series!

Comedy, intrigue, practicality and excitement! Only complaint I have is the excessive swearing, wish I could mute that out so I can listen to this with my teenage! I fully endorse this series, get it and enjoy!

Great fun

I'm a big fan of post apocalyptic stories and found this series cleaver and original and funny. The main protagonist is an everyday guy in extraordinary circumstances. If u like creative problem-solving with an inherent critique of our modern society, then Read This Series.

Realistic experience for the beginning of the ZA

Ilove the characters, the setting, the narration. This is actually my third time listening to this book. If by some miracle you haven't heard/read this series, listen now, I guarantee you won't regret it. The story starts with one character and builds on slowly with more and more people that you will fall in love with. Buy this book if you are a fan of the zombie apocalypse genre. It's a rich story with multi dimensional characters including two protagonists that I would want with me if the world goes to crap.

I loved this book.this reminded me of the walking dead show. loved it and look forward to the next book in the series.

Get your zombie fix here. Nothing like TWD and yet, satisfying. You will laugh, grimace, and be back for more. The narration really draws you into the story. Dan Morgan is exactly how these characters should sound and he is spot on with the funny banter.
