it's ok.

pretty bland feminist drivel. you know the stuff. all the lady's are able to kill trained soldiers without remorse but break down in tears when the see their husband. basic shtf bs. story is ok at best. becomes repetitive after the 2nd book.

EMP lite

Extremely well developed characters including their wardrobe descriptions and romantic interests. A lot of characters. Bad guys were bad but I didn’t get the feeling times were really that hard post EMP or CME when 70-90 percent of the population may die. I only hope if the time comes this storyline mirrors events for the majority of the country.

Evil abounds

Except for Sam everybody else that got hurt good or bad didn’t stay hurt for very long just kind of a shallow story

Love the characters

Great story but a little dry in many places. Overall, well performed with a good story line.

Good story set in Rural America

Liked the premise. EMP is a solid foundation for a good story.
Solid character development.
Opportunity to have been a much longer story by addressing things like Nuclear power plants.
Couple of bubbles including inadvertently switching from Franklin NC to Franklin TN. lol. And 'putting the truck in driver as well as 'grinding the gears' on the same vehicle.
Overall a good read/listen and I will explore other titles by this author.
