Great story and characters

Virtual voice. The AI didn’t accent the different characters and had some pronunciations were off.

I appreciate the author for now using explicit language. It was exciting graphic without the need for vulgarity. Well done. PG 13

Good story, pretty good writing, bad narration. I understand the convenience of virtual voice, but the constant mispronunciations or varying pronunciations for the same word is annoying and ruins the flow of the story.

Love the characters

Love the characters and details. This book has kept my attention throughout. Don’t like the AI reader though.

What?

I loved the character development. The kids who stepped up to beyond what anyone expected yet were constantly underestimated. I would recommend this series to everyone. Well, not the younger crowd due to violence and profanity. But it totally suited the storyline.

If you’ve seen my reviews before, you know I’m not a fan of Virtual Voice. But whatever program this is did a better job. Far from perfect, but better. It still mispronounces many words and even says the same word differently. It does a better job with tone and inflection. There’s just no replacing a good storyteller.
