Ellake
After an epic battle in Helmfirth, Nate helped defeat the Adventurer's Guild traitors, free the slaves and save Kiri's life—but will it cost him his own?
Still navigating his way in this new world, Nate's goal is to learn everything he can and rise up through the levels of the System. To educate himself, he needs to gain access to the Etrua Royal University which will be no easy task, having to compete in a tournament against the most skilled Silver-Ranked Adventurers the Guild has to offer. But the system has other ideas.
Will he succeed, or will he be hunted down before he can prove his worth?

it is frustrating listening to this series whenever anything romantic and involving Kiri occured. She acts like a drunk 20 year old bachelor male towards other women. The entire thing with Flash was solely written for LGBT Char good, male bad. and no other purpose. Flash could have had any single other purpose other than liking Coraline. a guard, an over zealous lacky, a sibling, etc.
not even that, but flashs character was never explored. Just given "oh he likes her so he got jealous of the women" and made that concept into a character. She does the exact same thing towards women, that women complain about men doing.
its gross. Its gross when men do it. its gross when women do it. its just gross. Maybe this character would be acceptable if she wasn't a teenage boy with a gooning addiction, but also the fact of the matter is, if you made kiri any other sexuality. straight, asexual, demi, bi, trans, anything and the story would have NO change in the main storyline. NOTHING of value would change.
which is why she's so annoying as an LGBt character because not one chapter can't go without her making a sex comment about someone's ass. Like fuck. Its gross when men do it. Its gross for her too.
finally, the fight with flash.
she got stabbed like 10 times in the back and her throat cut open. SHE LOST. PERIOD. If flash had gone for a kill blow, she would have DIED. But killing or permanently maiming other contestants was strictly PROHIBITIED. So by ALL MEANS. Kiri hit FATAL DAMAGE ACCRUED, and then she got up because what? THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP AND TRIUMPHING LESBIANISM???
AND THE HEALER NOT IMMEDIATELY GOING TO HEAL SOMEONE, WHOSE ARTERY AND JUGGULAR COULD HAVE BEEN SLICED OPEN LET ALONE PIERCED???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
The entire reason Kiri is lesbian is because they're trying to empower LGBT and in that goal, has created another stupid character that makes no sense, and is honestly more disrespectful to the LGBT community, than just saying she's bi as a cop out. Like c'mon.
Frustrating LGBT character.
