Great story and premise.

The story is well fleshed out and the plot really kept my attention. I do want to mention that it doesn't end up in any expected direction and that had me pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to listening to what comes next. Excellent narration as always by Daniel Thomas May.

give this book a try amazing!

Amazing character development, lovable, losers, very entertaining, nonstop, draws you, and I’m very happy with this book more than worth a credit!

Unsatisfying

while i definitely liked the book there was very little reason to root for Bernt. He wasn't particularly special in any way, i thought maybe when doing his investment he'd use the demon blood and that's when it'd take a turn but he didn't.

fantasy city mechanics

An interesting take on some behind the scenes type city worker. Loved it. Good read. may listen again. can't wait for the next 1.

Pretty interesting, not a story I've heard before

I liked that the story focused around someone who could do magic. I would have liked more of the magic, and less of other people's viewpoints, but it wasn't too bad. I just wish they'd put different people's viewpoints in different chapters.
