Excellent background/foundation for these two. including the duos name

Harian was not always single. He fell in love -kind of- in this book. Such a great addition to the series. Lots of mysteries or questions i had were answered and solved in this one. I just wish the history of Gwen would have flowed better or continued from the last book to this one.

Full Cast vs. solo Narration

I listened to the first two books with just Tim Gerard Reynolds reading. One of the things that brings me back to audible over and over is the amazing Narrators. I feel like an entire cast could not replace the gifted reading of Tim Gerard Reynolds. My note to audible and the authors, stick with the single Narrators! They are gifted entertaining amazing additions to the natural story. Irreplaceable.

the dramatasied version did nothing for me. the narrator had annoying monotone voice. and the voices was not what i imagined,but that's on me. but it did nothing for me

Love the Riyria stories.

There is nothing bad to be said about the Riyria stories. They are the best chronicles I have listened to in a while. I hope the author creates more of them. Thank you for them.

the acting is good, the story is good

All the actors do a great job in all the books in the riyia series (chronicles and Revelations). I cant imagine experiencing these stories any other way. This story specifically is my favorite so far.

I think Graphic Audio is a really cool idea. It takes a little bit to get used to hearing a book that way. Like the first book i listened to as a graphic audio was a little jarring, But once you get the hang of it, it's been an awesome experience.

the narrator took one whole book to get used to because of his tone, but once you get used to it, i couldnt imagine any other narrator, i like him.

The authors world building is worthy of a great TTRPG. And I would play the hell out it if these books were turned into one.

Good story, bad narrator

The narrator was so cold, distant and without any feelings. It kinda sounded like he hated reading the story and it ruined a lot of the book seeing as he talked 70% of the time. I have heard the other books with just the one person reading it all and it has been much more enjoyable.
