I really enjoyed this work. I enjoyed the work and the performance! I'll be back for the next one, the first one actually! what a joy!!

A short, but entertaining ride!

As always with the MJS and TGR combo, both the writing and narration are suburb. This glimpse into Suri and Mina's past was a fun and nostalgic ride if you know what's coming in the series already. An absolute must-read to tide you over before the continuation of the epic fantasy later this year!

Spellbinding in it's scariness

A hidden chamber, a pile of bones, a bone removed..
A pursuit in a darkened forest, by a pursuing body less voice...
Not scary at all!!!

This was a cute short story, and I'm now very interested in getting his Legends of the first Empire series.
