Ruined by narrator

I was about to return this book many times because of the narrator…I pay for audible subscriptions because I love how narrators bring books to life. That is not the case with this book. I want to continue the series, but I don’t think I will because of the boring narration…

sometimes too complicated

I really liked the story, but I had to re-listen to several parts and chapters because the story was pretty complicated and some of the characters names were so similar that I got them mixed up.
Also, the narrator could have made slight differences in each characters voice, and that might have helped me keep track of who was who. But overall, it was a good story.

Good story

I wish the reader would have used more varied voices - he has a great voice, but each character sounded like the one before.

Good summer book for a car trip, day at the beach or while cleaning the pool!

I loved listening to this book on my trips to work or the beach on my days off. Even listened to it while cleaning the pool and doing my weekly outdoor chores.

Decent story. Terrible narration

The story was pretty decent, but the narrator almost made it impossible to listen to. I’m hoping the next one is better.

I understand he doesn't change voices for the characters, but his voice matches the tone of these books. definitely a book worth picking up!

rise of the Ranger

this book started a little confusingly. There were many characters and you had to sort them out bit by bit. But as the book Advanced the story became clear.

Well performs done fantastically a great little book I truly loved it. I can't wait for the 2nd.

This is great book series!

I plan to listen to the entire 9 book series I really enjoyed the adventure and look forward to the rest of the series.
